World is ablaze because of Vengeance (Gujarati Dadavani February-1999)

We are wandering in this world since infinite lifetimes. Why is it that we are still unable to attain liberation? The root cause of this is ignorance. Ignorance gives birth to ego and then starts the cycle of attachment-abhorrence. Abhorrence causes vengeance. It is this vengeance that makes us wander life after life. Whenever anyone hurts us, we should understand that he/she is fulfilling revenge for vengeance of past lifetime. Vengeance will not let anyone experience happiness in world, keep aside attaining liberation! Even in worldly interaction with respect to money we often bind vengeance through abhorrence & dislike. One who wants to attain salvation should keep utmost spiritual awareness during worldly interactions. In this lifetime we should constantly be in the spiritual awareness to not bind vengeance with anybody and to settle vengeance of past life with equanimity.
