OH, SO BIG

OH, SO BIG examines 70s male pornography, the sexual freedoms of the era, and interracial sexuality by re-contextualizing the male gaze with a contemporary feminist perspective. Using collage methods OH, SO BIG subverts the intention of the original materials in a playful and often humorous manner. Male focused images and editorial text reflect 70s style, society and politics. The new hybrid is a contemporary look back at the fears and freedoms of an earlier era from the more restrictive censored woke stage of the conservative Trump era.
