Lost In The Sauce vol. 1

"Lost In The Sauce" is the first collaborative project between renowned street photographer, Kemal Cilengir, and multimedia journalist, Walter Thompson-Hernandez. Using Cilengir's provocative images and Thompson-Hernandez' dream like short stories, this ongoing book series seeks to capture the sounds, sights, and feel of a city that tends to be misrepresented in popular culture throughout the U.S. and the world. As Los Angeles natives, both Cilengir and Thompson-Hernandez seek to reestablish realistic interpretations and images of a city that always seems to be "lost in the sauce."
