Texas Photographic Society and PhotoPlace Gallery partnered to co-sponsor this themed call titled "Composed", juried by Sam Abell, photographer, teacher, author and artist. A veteran "National Geographic" photographer, Abell is well known for his meticulously framed photographs and often references his father’s inspiring visual training from childhood that led him to “compose and wait” for an image. This catalog includes all the thoughtfully composed photographs chosen for exhibition at PhotoPlace Gallery in Middlebury, Vermont.

Award Winners: First Place - Roger Archibald (North Quincy, MA) "One Commonwealth"; Second Place - Jill Jordan (Dallas, TX) "The Birds"; Third Place - Ira Talanchuk (Des Plaines, IL) "Within"

Honorable Mentions: Liza Hennessey Botkin (Studio City, CA) "Twin Landscapes"; Robert Herman (New York, NY) "Downtown Brooklyn, NY"; Nancy Lehrer (Thousand Oaks, CA) "Neighbor Envy"; Marcia Mahoney (Chicago, IL) "Il Pleut à Paris"; Robert Moore (Dallas, TX) "Ganges, Varanasi"
