Interference v.2

The woods are a site of the unknown, one that simultaneously provokes anxiety and wonder. The woods conjure images of Hansel and Gretel, and ax murderers, coyotes and caterpillars. Standing at the edge of the woods can make us apprehensive of the dangers and mysteries that lurk within. But we may represent the biggest danger — by interfering with that which is wild and untamed, greedily encroaching upon it. The visual interference that appears in these images correlates to an interference with the natural world. This particular interference began as an accidental digital by-product of cellular transmission.
