Understanding For Kids!! Genesis 25-32

In this edition we learn the story of Jacob and Esau. Twin brothers who have a lot of fighting in their life. Then, Jacob finds a wife and works 7 years for her father Laban. Then Laban tricks Jacob and gives him the wrong daughter. Now Jacob has to work another 7 years for the girl he loves. Jacob has some interesting interaction with God. First he has a vision of a stairway leading to heaven with Angels ascending and descending the stairway. Later, Jacob meets God face to face at one of the lowest points in his life. God has made so many promises and Jacob hasn’t seen God do anything yet. He’s frustrated, tired, angry and scared. He ends up standing before God, face to face and wrestling with Him. How will that end? Through the details of these pages we see God continuing to separate people for himself and to build the faith of his people.
