This ruffled scarf or scarflette is an excellent stashbuster. You can make it with stripes (and use up scraps of yarn) or even make it all in one solid color. It has just the right amount of ruffles at its edge to keep it interesting without it being overly frilly.

Also, the ruffles are knit first as a part of the scarf so they do not have to be added on or attached at the end. The scarf has a slight curve to it which enhances both the ruffles as well as the way it drapes when worn around the neck.

The scarf was made from Malabrigo Arroyo yarn in the colorways Pocion and Reflecting Pool. Any sport or DK weight yarn can be substituted though.

The difficulty level for this pattern is Beginner to Advanced Beginner.
