Instead of interning at a newspaper or at a design firm, I asked myself "Why can't I be my own boss and create something with no rules or limits?" Immediately upon arriving to that question; my mind was made up. I was going to write, design and build a product all on my own.

I had never taken a graphic design class. I had never taken a journalism class. All I knew was what interested me so I focused on making something that I would want to have. That same "unrealistic and imaginative" mindset continues to stand strong to this day, and the magazine in front of you now is the product of such thinking.
