The Lincoln Grade School was built in 1916 and was purchased by the Clallam County Historical Society in 1991.

Since 1948, the Clallam County Historical Society has been dedicated to keeping the history of the north Olympic Peninsula alive. The Society actively collects artifacts pertaining to Clallam County, operates a research library, is a partner with the Clallam County Genealogical Society, is currently restoring the historic school building shown above, and tells the story of our county in the exhibits at The Museum at the Carnegie.
