2009 Dress Responsibly Lookbook

Welcome to the 2009 Fashion Fights Poverty Dress Responsibly Lookbook - a catalogue of the chic and au courant of ethical, eco and socially-responsible design. Within the Lookbook's pages are clothes, accessories and home décor from designers who practice environmental sustainability, sweatshop-free production and fair trade; and non-profit organizations which use fashion and design as vehicles for fighting poverty. This all-volunteer effort collects the work of some of the world’s most talented photographers, illustrators, designers, hair and makeup artists, and models. This year, teams interpreted a word starting with the letters “R” and “E”- words such as “rethink,” “recreate,” and “react.” In a year of immense change, the book is a call to action for consumers to reconsider their role in fighting poverty and protecting the planet. 100% of the sale of this book goes to support Fashion Fights Poverty, a 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization.
