This book features photos of islands, and stories of my experiences in the archipelagos, isles and atolls of the earth, and on the islands of my imagination over the last many decades: including Hawaii, The Virgin Islands, The British Isles, islands off of the coast of Spain, Denmark the Netherlands and Mexico, the San Juan Islands, Manhattan Island and islands in and of the coast of Maine.

Hope is being able to see that there is abundant light encircling the islands of our lives, despite all of the darkness and tribulations that can surround and engulf us. The most fluid things in the world are water and time. This book attempts to be a mirror of island life and magic, reflected in water.
