Fond du Lac County, wiscsonsin, was one of the largest limestone and lime production regions in the State of Wisconsin. The history of lime production predates Wisconsin statehood. This booklet is the catalog for an exhibition by the same name that was open to the public for the 2022 season at the Galloway House. Through a series 19th and 20th century photographs, historic accounts, and detail research, this booklet provides a comprehensive historical review of lime production in the region.
