A cogent illustration of Marx’s concept of surplus value as shown in the daily life of a worker is included, as is part 1 of Reich’s first paper on work democracy. In one paper, he presents a bio-energetic interpretation of Max Hartmann’s work on relative sexuality in protists. In others, he describes the application of dialectical materialism to bion research, and the significance of bion research for the understanding of cancer. Other papers provide previously unpublished details about studies of the SAPA bion radiation which led to the discovery of orgone energy.
