135-0.750; P = 0.009). This association remained significant after further adjusting for other major risk factors. However, in the subgroup analysis, the protective effect against MAU was limited in compliant patients treated with ≥40 mg/day SPL compared with noncompliant patients (9.62% versus 34.88%, respectively; P less then 0.05). Our findings demonstrated that in addition to improving high blood pressure and hypokalemia, full compliance with the appropriate dose of SPL may benefit endothelial function, as reflected by a lower prevalence of MAU in patients with PA.A pot experiment was used to explore the distribution of fertilizer N and agronomic effects in a paddy soil-rice (Oryza sativa L.) system. Five treatments were set without nitrogen, straw and inhibitor (C), urea (U), urea + straw (US), urea + urease + nitrification inhibitor (UI) and urea + urease + nitrification inhibitor + straw (UIS). Soil and urea-derived microbial biomass N increased significantly in US and UIS compared with straw-free treatments at seedling and tillering, indicating that biotic process play an important role in the retention of fertilizer N with straw addition. About 10% urea-N was recovered as fixed ammonium (FA) at seedling stage, subsequently released at tillering and maturation regardless of treatments, which emphasizes the importance of FA in the retention and supply of fertilizer N in paddy soils. Compared with U, rice yield and N uptake in US decreased by 7.8% and 25.2% respectively, while inhibitors (UIS) alleviated the reduction by 16.4% and 31.6%. The current research indicated UIS is recommended as the most appropriate management strategy in paddy soils of Northeast China based on N dynamics. But the economic effect as well as the field-scale validation need to be further evaluated.Clinicians and patients have traditionally believed that elective cesarean section may protect against certain previously ineluctable consequences of labor, including a plethora of urinary, anorectal and sexual dysfunctions. We aimed to evaluate fecal, urinary and sexual symptoms 6 years postpartum, comparing uncomplicated vaginal delivery and elective cesarean delivery, and to assess their impact on quality of life. We conducted a cross-sectional study to compare perineal functional symptomatology between women having singleton elective cesarean deliveries (eCS) and singleton uncomplicated vaginal deliveries (uVD). Women who delivered 6 years before this study were chosen randomly from our hospital database. This database includes demographic, labor, and delivery information, as well as data regarding maternal and neonatal outcomes, all of which is collected at the time of delivery by the obstetrician. Four validated self-administrated questionnaires were sent by post to the participants the short forms of t confidence interval 1.19-5.26) were significantly more frequent after eCS than uVD. Six years postpartum, uVD is associated with urinary incontinence, while eCS is associated with sexual and urination pain.Noninvasive follicular thyroid neoplasms with papillary-like nuclear features (NIFTP) are follicular-patterned thyroid neoplasms defined by nuclear atypia and indolent behavior. They harbor RAS mutations, rather than BRAFV600E mutations as is observed in papillary thyroid carcinomas with extensive follicular growth. Reliably identifying NIFTPs aids in safe therapy de-escalation, but has proven to be challenging due to interobserver variability and morphologic heterogeneity. The genomic scoring system BRS (BRAF-RAS score) was developed to quantify the extent to which a tumor's expression profile resembles a BRAFV600E or RAS-mutant neoplasm. We proposed that deep learning prediction of BRS could differentiate NIFTP from other follicular-patterned neoplasms. A deep learning model was trained on slides from a dataset of 115 thyroid neoplasms to predict tumor subtype (NIFTP, PTC-EFG, or classic PTC), and was used to generate predictions for 497 t
