As a young man he made an early decision to follow his dreams, so he started down the road to being a Criminal Lawyer. While in school living out his dream he took on a part-time job in a friend’s salon and the rest, as they say, is history. Years later, here he is continuing on with working not only behind the chair but educating stylists along the way. Rafael takes his inspiration from not only art & fashion but also architecture as well as his intrigue with the Gothic Pandemonium. All these things combined give him a strong point of view not only as a stylist and educator but also as session stylist. The multi-medium artist , is passionate about the fine arts of drawing and painting, Videoagraphy, Photography, Digital Editing, Publishing as well as the digital world of graphic design and illustration. Having european roots and a canadian upbringing, Rafael is inspired by different cultures, a fascination that is reflected strongly in his landscape paintings of his"Home Sweet Home" in Alberta, Canada.
