The prevalence of mixed dementia (MixD), defined as the coexistence of Alzheimer's disease (AD) and vascular dementia (VaD), is likely to increase as the population ages. The five-word test (5WT) is a neuropsychological test that differentiates between major and mild neurocognitive disorder (NCD). The objective of the study is to validate 5WT for the detection of MixD. 230 participants were evaluated cognitively healthy (CH) (n=70), mild NCD (n=70), and major NCD (n=90) AD (n=30), VaD (n=30), and MixD (n=30). Genital areas may be involved and represent a specific therapeutic challenge. Surprisingly, data on male genital vitiligo remain scarce. This review aims to collate current knowledge on male genital vitiligo and to discuss the risks and benefits of the various therapeutic approaches. Male genital vitiligo is relatively frequent and often induces marked impairment of quality of life, with a specific impact on sex life. Prompt recognition of activity remains mandatory to halt disease progression, as repigmentation remains difficult to achieve in most cases. Thanks to progress in understanding of the pathophysiology of vitiligo, new therapeutic approaches are under development. To determine the impact of sleep-disordered breathing (SDB) on survival in patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) following septal myectomy. Patients with obstructive HCM undergoing septal myectomy from 2007 to 2016 were reviewed. Those who had an overnight oximetry test within 6 months before myectomy were included in analysis. Oxygen desaturation index was examined continuously and also categorically (SDB [>5/h] and severe SDB [>15/h]). A total of 619 of 1500 patients undergoing septal myectomy had overnight oximetry tests.
