Diagnosis was the main predictor of cognitive fatigue (p less then .001, ηp2 = 0.178), followed by depression (p = .010, ηp2 = 0.080). Survivors of BT reported significantly more fatigue than healthy controls on all fatigue subscales. While they also expressed more symptoms of depression, we found no evidence for an interaction effect. Parent-child concordance was moderate to good among survivors, but poor for controls. CONCLUSIONS Survivors of BT and ALL suffer from cognitive fatigue, with survivors of BT expressing more problems. Cognitive fatigue and depression should be assessed in survivors of childhood cancer using both self-rated and proxy-rated measures, and appropriate interventions offered.BACKGROUND Elucidating developmental changes in the symptoms of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is important to support individuals with ASD. However, no report has clarified the developmental changes in attention to social information for a broad age range. The aim of this study was to investigate the developmental changes in attention to social information from early childhood to adolescence in individuals with ASD and typically developed (TD) children. METHODS We recruited children with ASD (n = 83) and TD participants (n = 307) between 2 and 18 years of age. Using the all-in-one-eye-tracking system, Gazefinder, we measured the percentage fixation time allocated to areas of interest (AoIs) depicted in movies (the eyes and mouth in movies of a human face with/without mouth motion, upright and inverted biological motion in movies showing these stimuli simultaneously, people and geometry in preference paradigm movies showing these stimuli simultaneously, and objects with/without finger-pointing in a movie show than 10 years.BACKGROUND Multiple studies have demonstrated the importance of adequate catheter-tissue contact in the creation of effective lesions during radiofrequency catheter ablation. The development of contact force (CF)-sensing catheters has contributed significantly to improve clinical outcomes in atrial fibrillation. However, CF-sensing technology is not used in the ablation of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (PSVT). The possible reason for this is that PSVT ablation with the conventional approach (i.e. nonirrigated, non-CF-sensing catheters) is considered a relatively low-risk procedure with fairly high success rates (short and long term). The aim of this study is to determine whether CF sensing can further improve the outcomes of PSVT ablation. METHODS/DESIGN The COBRA-PATH study is a single-center, two-armed, randomized controlled trial. Patients without structural heart disease being referred for electrophysiology study, because of PSVT and potential treatment with radiofrequency (RF) catheter ablation decrease in procedure duration and the consequential reduction of radiation exposure has important clinical implications for both operators and patients undergoing the procedure. Considering the latter in the context of protozoan parasites, the stable fly is a mechanical vector of trypanosomes and Besnoitia besnoiti. However, its role as a vector of piroplasms appears to be seldom studied, despite old data suggesting mechanical transmission of babesiae by dipteran flies. METHODS In this study 395 stable flies (and one Haematobia stimulans) were collected at a cattle farm with known history of bovine theileriosis, and at further nine, randomly chosen locations in Hungary. These flies were separated according to sex (30 of them also cut into two parts the head wi
