However, fluconazole has only a fungistatic activity in C. albicans, therefore, in the long-term treatment of C. albicans infection with fluconazole, C. albicans has the potential to acquire fluconazole resistance. A promising approach to increase fluconazole's efficacy is identifying potential targets of drugs that can enhance the antifungal effect of fluconazole, or even make the drug fungicidal. In this review, we systematically provide a global overview of potential targets of drugs synergistic with fluconazole in C. albicans, identify new avenues for research on fluconazole potentiation, and highlight the promise of combinatorial strategies with fluconazole in combatting C. albicans infections. To determine the clinical relevance of the effects that Massage-Therapy (MT) and Abdominal-Hypopressive-Gymnastics (AHG) and the combination of both procedures have on the disability, pain intensity, quality of life, and lumbar mobility of patients with chronic nonspecific low back pain (CNSLBP). A randomized controlled-trial with parallel-groups, concealed allocation, assessor blinding, and intention-to-treat analysis was carried out. The sample included 60 adults with CNSLBP. The participants received MT ( = 20), AHG ( = 20), or MT + AHG ( = 20). Each group received 8 interventions. The ODI change scores were significantly higher ( < 0.05) in the MT + AHG group than in the other two groups. Significant differences were found in the results of NRS, Schober's test, and SF-12 PCS ( < 0.05) in each group. There were significant differences ( < 0.05) between the values of SF-12 MCS in AHG and MT + AHG groups. Massage Therapy and Abdominal Hypopressive Gymnastics reduce pain levels, increase the mobility of the lumbar spine, and improve disability and quality of life (PCS) in patients with CNSLBP in the short term. Likewise, AHG and MT + AHG improve quality of life (MCS). The combination of both therapies provides more benefits in terms of lumbar disability in patients with CNSLBP in the short term. This improvement is clinically relevant. ClinicalTrials.gov (NCT02721914). This approach offers potential avenues for tuning the thermal emission frequency, line width, polarization, and spatial coherence. Here, we employ three-mode strong coupling between propagating and localized surface phonon polaritons, with zone-folded longitudinal optic phonons within periodic arrays of 4H-SiC nanopillars. Energy exchange, mode evolution, and coupling strength between the three polariton branches are explored experimentally and theoretically. The influence of strong coupling upon the angle-dependent thermal emission was directly measured, providing excellent agreement with theory. We demonstrate a 5-fold improvement in the spatial coherence and 3-fold enhancement of the quality factor of the polaritonic modes, with these hybrid modes also exhibiting a mixed character that could enable opportunities to realize electrically driven emission. Our results show that polariton-phonon strong coupling enables thermal emitters, which meet the requirements for a host of IR applications in a simple, lightweight, narrow-band, and yet bright emitter. We report the first enantiosel
