Oscar Elizondo (oscarelizondo)

Oscar Elizondo is a business leader based in Pharr, Texas, with experience across accounting, healthcare, real estate, and construction. He is now focused on commercial and residential construction, remodeling, roofing, and expanding home services throughout Texas.

Oscar graduated from the University of Texas–Rio Grande Valley with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting. Early in his career, he worked in corporate tax preparation and accounting with mid-sized and large organizations. These roles helped him build experience in financial systems, budgeting, and operational efficiency.

He later became a regional manager at ADP Payroll Processing, Inc., where he helped expand business operations across South Texas. His responsibilities included client development and growth planning. During his time there, he was recognized as Rookie of the Year and Manager of the Year.

Oscar also built significant experience in real estate. After earning his real estate license on his first attempt, he worked as an investor and agent. Between 2012 and 2018, he bought and sold more than $20 million in property. His work helped strengthen his skills in property evaluation, investment decisions, and transaction management.

His construction experience began in 2003, when he started building homes with his cousin Rudy Elizondo. Over time, he also remodeled his own properties. In 2019, he created Zondo Construction and Zondo Roofing. Through these businesses, he has overseen residential homes, apartment complexes, commercial buildings, remodeling projects, and roofing work across South Texas.

Oscar’s construction work often involves coordinating contractors, engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients. He focuses on clear timelines, cost control, project scope, and quality workmanship. His background in finance helps him connect budgeting with on-site execution.

He has also remained involved in community development. Oscar has served on the Economic Development Board in Pharr and has supported nonprofit and youth organizations. His leadership experience includes local Boys and Girls Clubs, economic development corporation boards, Lions Clubs, and youth sports coaching.

Outside of work, Oscar Elizondo enjoys cycling, running, fishing, hiking, and watching the Texas Longhorns play. As a father, he supports his children as they pursue careers in healthcare. His current goal is to continue growing his work in construction, remodeling, roofing, and related services across Texas.
