Epidemiological data describe use disorder as one of the most mentioned disorders in cases of involuntary commitment to treatment, with clinical improvement as long as treatment lasts. French law does not prohibit compulsory addiction treatment in psychiatry. Compulsory addiction treatment could be an access to health care for some patients and an emergency measure to limit at one point the accumulation of damage or in view of a life-threatening situation. To compare outcomes for relapsed versus resistant low risk gestational trophoblastic neoplasia (GTN) following single-agent chemotherapy. This was a single center retrospective study of low risk GTN. Cases failing to achieve a normal hCG with first-line therapy were defined as chemotherapy resistance. Cases achieving hCG remission, but recurring, were defined as relapse. Primary endpoints were remission rate with second-line therapy and time to remission. Univariate and multivariate analyses were performed to define prognostic factors. Among 877 low risk GTN patients there were 124 (14.8%) chemotherapy resistant and 22 (2.6%) relapse cases. Complete remission rates with second-line therapy were similar between relapse (77.3%) and resistant (76.6%) cases (p=0.95), but resistance was associated with a longer time to reach complete remission with second-line therapy (median 8.3 vs 4.9weeks; p=0.024). In multivariate analysis, the significant prognostic factors for second-line therapy remission and time to clinical situations. Peroral endoscopic pyloromyotomy, or gastric peroral endoscopic myotomy, is a novel endoscopic procedure for the treatment of refractory gastroparesis. BLU-945 concentration We present a simulation-based curriculum using an "into-the-fire" approach with hands-on pre- and post-tests to teach this procedure. Six, 1-day peroral endoscopic pyloromyotomy courses were taught by an expert surgical endoscopist in 2018 to 2019. The curriculum is composed of a series of pretraining tests, lectures, mentored hands-on instruction, and post-training tests using porcine models. Both pre- and post-testing included a confidence survey, a knowledge-based written test, and a specific assessment form for the peroral endoscopic pyloromyotomy procedure. Participants' scores were analyzed using paired t tests. Twenty-eight practicing physicians participated. After completing the curriculum, participants had improved confidence scores (10.5 ± 5.2 vs 19.4 ± 3.6; P < .001), written test scores (6.8 ± 1.6 vs 8.0 ± 1.1; P < .001), and hands-on performance scores (23.6 ± 3.4 vs 29.3 ± 1.4; P < .001) with marked improvement in all components of the peroral endoscopic pyloromyotomy procedure. Postcourse surveys showed 93% of participants had performed or intended to perform the peroral endoscopic pyloromyotomy procedure within the next year. Our simulation curriculum with an into-the-fire approach to teach peroral endoscopic pyloromyotomy is effective in improving practitioner knowledge, confidence, and technical skills, leading to an increase in the adoption of this procedure. Genetic testing for germline pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma susceptibility genes is associated with improved patient management. However, data are currently sparse on the probability of a positive testing result based on an individual's clinical presentation. This study evaluates clinical c
