Anyone who’s ever tried applying false eyelashes for the very first time knows it’s not this easy.
Well, Step one 1 is not hard enough, and I’ve done a terrific job of detailing Step 2 2 in my own How exactly to Properly Apply False Eyelash Glue (About Adhesives, Part I) post here. *pats self on the back again* X) But Step three 3 is where folks have the most trouble, and that’s why I’m here to provide you with five tips you wish someone had informed you when you initially learned how to apply false eyelashes.
Tip #1: Everything’s Better with Curves A lot more curved the lash band is, the simpler the lashes are to apply. And don’t fret if you believe you overdid it; it’s actually a great deal easier to apply a significantly curved false eyelash onto your sight rather than make an effort to pin down both ends of an lash that is too directly. Tip #2: Oil-Free is the Way to Be Oil makes it hard for the adhesive to relationship to the lash group and also to your eye; it’s like looking to make tape stay onto a greasy forehead. When you have naturally greasy eyelids, blot the surplus oil with oil blotting sheets. If you’re re-using your lashes, be sure you NEVER take them off with oil-based make-up remover as the oil will remain lodged within the lash music group, making it hard that you can glue them back again on. Tip #3: Keep the elbows on the table If you’re new to false lashes, mirror positioning and stableness make a HUGE difference as it pertains to successful application. A lot of people apply their lashes while ranking in front of their bathroom mirror or seated at their vanity, and that’s usually where the trouble starts. Try one of these setups instead to make your daily life a bit easier:

Hint #4: Start Small Accent lashes/demi lashes/fifty percent lashes are a beginner’s best friend. They’re shorter wide (they only cover the outside 1 / 2 of your eye or less) so they’ll keep onto your eye much more efficiently than when you’re managing full strip lashes.
Idea #5: Take it One Step at a Time If you’re in love with a pair of full strip lashes but can’t appear to have them on correctly, try cutting them up in two or three sections.
