Many times you will be tempted to just store it in your mind and not write. Because you may have a very good memory. No offense to your memory. Even if you have an excellent memory, you just can't practically store all the data and analyze it properly.

When you sit down to write everything that has gone on in your day, everything you would like to do in the future and past thoughts you have trouble letting go of, you will start to see patterns. You will start to see that there are certain characteristics of yourself that you never knew existed. When you place your ideas in written word and look at them after you've written them, you are able to take a step back and see the person you really have become. You will awaken your inner self and examine yourself in a deeper way. This can be a tremendous help with overcoming fears, changing negative behavior patterns and deciding what you want in life.
