Evyatar established a solid academic foundation in biotechnology before pursuing specialized training in cardiovascular medicine. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Florida. His responsibilities included clinical case support, physician education, and technical consultation, allowing him to gain firsthand experience with advanced electrophysiology procedures and hospital operations.
Evyatar joined El Camino Health in 2016 as an Electrophysiology Coordinator and quickly became an important contributor to the organization's growing cardiovascular services. He managed equipment planning, capital budgeting, staff education, and procedural support while helping strengthen laboratory operations. His consistent results led to expanded responsibilities as Coordinator for both Electrophysiology and Interventional Radiology.
Evyatar reached another milestone in 2022 when he was appointed Program Manager of Electrophysiology and Interventional Radiology. During his leadership, the electrophysiology program achieved a 400 percent increase in business volume through sustained strategic growth. He also directed the expansion of advanced EP laboratories, supported technology implementation, and contributed to securing Cath/EP accreditation and HeartCARE Center designation.
Evyatar Nitzany holds the Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist credential, demonstrating advanced knowledge of electrophysiology systems, clinical standards, and patient safety. His leadership also helped earn recognition for El Camino Health's electrophysiology program in EP Lab Digest, highlighting its progress and innovation.
