posure to aluminum hydroxide following the COVID-19 period of isolation. We have carried out calculations for cross sections of 102Pd(n,2n)101Pd, 110Pd(n,2n)109Pd, 106Cd(n,2n)105Cd, 108Cd(n,2n)107Cd, 110Cd(n,2n)109Cd, 114Cd(n,2n)113Cd and 116Cd(n,2n)115Cd reactions via nuclear models which are based on the equilibrium and pre-equilibrium emissions in the interactions of nuclei with neutron particles. Cyclopamine solubility dmso The cross sections were determined by means of the model codes EMPIRE 3.2, ALICE/ASH and TALYS 1.8. Besides, the equilibrium and pre-equilibrium effects were performed using Weisskopf-Ewing model, Geometry Dependent Hybrid model, Exciton model and Two-component Exciton model at neutron energies from threshold to 20 MeV. Effects of different level density models on the equilibrium calculations have also been discussed. Furthermore, the empirical systematics, which were suggested in our previous study and in the literature, were used to calculate the (n,2n) cross sections at energies around 14.5 MeV. Thereby, the data obtained were discussed and compared with the measured data in the literature.Gamma-ray spectrometry logs are verified as a qualitative analysis tool for clay minerals where clay swelling depends on the clay mineral type. The data are obtained from three random wells (Kh-24, Bassel-1X, and Hayat-1X wells) in Western Desert oil fields. X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and gamma-ray spectrometry are performed and the swelling potential index is obtained for surface samples from the Bahariya Formation. The swelling values and the total counts of gamma radiation, equivalent Th, equivalent U, and K are plotted with correlation coefficients (r) of 0.71, 0.81, 0.62, and 0.07, respectively. The swelling percentage ranges from 33% to 110%. This swelling behavior is reflected in the great difference in the composition of the clay minerals. Active clay minerals such as montmorillonite are widely observed with mixed-layer clay, illite, chlorite, and kaolinite. The correlation coefficients clarify a strong relation occurs in the cases of total gamma radiation and equivalent Th versus the swelling index. Consequently, gamma-ray spectrometry logs provide a new approach for identifying not only clay minerals but also their swelling trend. Moreover, they help to give an expected drilling risk, such as stuck while drilling. In the framework of maintenance activities in particle accelerators, such as upgrades and dismantling, a large number of activated equipment are removed from the accelerator complex and require characterization in view of their disposal as radioactive waste. In particular, cables can be of different types. This feature induces variations of the efficiency calibration curves due to the variation of the material composition, source distribution and density. Hence, quantifying the activities of the gamma-emitting radionuclides can be quite challenging for mixed cables. In this article, we propose a new qualification methodology, based on gamma spectrometry, in order to assess the activity results uncertainties of gamma-emitting radionuclides. This new methodology is developed to define the envelop efficiency calibration curves and allows for the establishment of more accurate activity values with their corresponding uncertainties. It is controversial whether local anesthetic dose requirement for spinal anesthesia for cesarean delivery differs between patients with singleton and patients with multiple gestation pregnancies. The aim of this study was to determine and compare the ED and ED for hyperbaric ropivacaine used for spinal anesthesia for cesarean delivery in patients with singleton pregnancies versus patients with twin pregnancies. Prospective, randomized, comparative dose-finding study. Operating room, Women's Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine. 100 patients with singleton pregnancies (Group S) and 10
