The use of middleware eases application development by providing the necessary functional capability. This paper presents a new form of middleware for controlling smart devices installed in an intelligent environment. This new form of middleware functioned seamlessly with any manufacturer API or bespoke controller program. It acts as an all-encompassing top layer of middleware in an intelligent environment control system capable of handling numerous different types of devices simultaneously. This protected de-synchronization of data stored in clone devices. It showed that in this middleware, the clone devices were regularly synchronized with their original master such as locally stored representations were continuously updated with the known true state values.Fake news detection has gained increasing importance among the research community due to the widespread diffusion of fake news through media platforms. Many dataset have been released in the last few years, aiming to assess the performance of fake news detection methods. In this survey, we systematically review twenty-seven popular datasets for fake news detection by providing insights into the characteristics of each dataset and comparative analysis among them. A fake news detection datasets characterization composed of eleven characteristics extracted from the surveyed datasets is provided, along with a set of requirements for comparing and building new datasets. Due to the ongoing interest in this research topic, the results of the analysis are valuable to many researchers to guide the selection or definition of suitable datasets for evaluating their fake news detection methods.Atraumatic posterior thigh compartment syndrome is a rare but serious condition. We document a case of atraumatic posterior thigh compartment syndrome that presented as an acute sciatic nerve palsy and required emergent fasciotomy. Based on this case, one should keep in mind the diagnosis of posterior thigh compartment syndrome when encountering a patient presenting with an acute sciatic nerve palsy.Pigmented villonodular synovitis (PVNS) is a locally destructive benign lesion usually affecting the synovial tissue of weight-bearing joints. Herein we reported a 20-year-old male patient who was an army staff with a foot lesion which was painful in army boots. In the beginning, the lesion was considered a ganglion cyst. Further investigations revealed cortical erosion of cuboid bone on the radiograph. Pigmented villonodular synovitis was considered as a probable diagnosis after observation of low signal lesion around the calcaneocuboid joint on both T1 and T2 images of Magnetic Resonance Imaging. The treatment included excision of the lesion and synovectomy of the calcaneocuboid joint. The diagnosis was confirmed with histological studies. At more than one year follow-up, the patient was completely asymptomatic, and there was no evidence of recurrence. This study aimed to raise the awareness of clinicians about the diagnosis of this rare soft tissue neoplasm which might be misdiagnosed as a ganglion or synovial cysts in the hindfoot zone. The treatment options for posterior instability associated with epilepsy includes grafts, osteotomies, arthrodesis and arthroplasty. The technique of reverse arthroscopic remplissage was described in 2006 as a method of filling the anterior humeral bone defect, associated with tenodesis of the subscapularis tendon. This case report presents the results of the reverse remplissage technique in relation to a patient who suffered a bilateral posterior glenohumeral dislocation with a reverse Hill-Sachs lesion.Hand and wrist disorders are common during pregnancy. Most of these problems develop during the third trimester when hormonal changes, fluid retention, and weight
