cy of GEBV, and that more accurate genomic prediction can be obtained from an increased number of genomic markers when using high-throughput sequencing in local broiler populations. Due to its lower genotyping cost, high-throughput sequencing could be a good alternative to SNP chips for genomic prediction in breeding programmes of local broiler populations. The purpose of bioinformatics research is to obtain information with biological significance from large amounts of data. Multiple sequence alignment is widely used in sequence homology detection, protein secondary and tertiary structure prediction, phylogenetic tree analysis, and other fields. Existing research mainly focuses on the specific steps of the algorithm or on specific problems, and there is a lack of high-level abstract domain algorithm frameworks. As a result, multiple sequence alignment algorithms are complex, redundant, and difficult to understand, and it is not easy for users to select the appropriate algorithm, which may lead to computing errors. Here, through in-depth study and analysis of the heuristic multiple sequence alignment algorithm (HMSAA) domain, a domain-feature model and an interactive model of HMSAA components have been established according to the generative programming method. With the support of the PAR (partition and recur) platform, the HMSAA algorithm component library is formalized and a specific alignment algorithm is assembled, thus improving the reliability of algorithm assembly. This work provides a valuable theoretical reference for the applications of other biological sequence analysis algorithms. Therefore, there is an unmet need to explore biomarkers or prognostic models for monitoring non-viral hepatocellular carcinoma. Accumulating evidence indicates that DNA methylation participates in carcinogenesis of malignancies. Selleck Sulfopin In the present study, we analyzed 101 non-viral HCC patients from TCGA database to figure out methylation-driven genes (MDGs) that might get involved in non-viral HCC pathogenesis using MethyMix algorithm. Then we picked out 8 key genes out of 137 MDGs that could affect the overall survival (OS) of both methylation and expression level. Using PCA, Uni-variate, Multi-variate, and LASSO cox regression analyses, we confirmed the potential prognostic value of these eight epigenetic genes. Ultimately, combined with immunohistochemistry (IHC), ROC, OS, and GSEA analyses, fat storage-inducing transmembrane protein1 (FITM1) was identified as a novel tumor suppressor gene in non-viral HCC and an applicable FITM1-methylation-based signature was built in a training set and validated in a testing set. Briefly, our work provides several potential biomarkers, especially FITM1, as well as a new method for disease surveillance and treatment strategy development. However, the regulatory mechanisms of long non-coding RNA (lncRNA), differences in meat quality are not well known. The chemical-physical parameters revealed the muscle quality of buffalo that can be equivalent of cattle, but there are significant differences in shearing force and muscle fiber structure. Then, we examined lncRNA expression profiles of buffalo and cattle skeletal muscle that provide first insights into their potential roles in buffalo myogenesis. Here, we profiled the expression of lncRNA in cattle and buffalo skeletal muscle tissues, and 16,236 lncRNA candidates were detected with 865 u
