Robert Johnson (Rojo1972)

Robert Johnson is an Associate Multimedia Producer from CNN.com. Johnson joined CNN.com in 2005. Johnson holds a master's degree in New Media from the Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University and earned his bachelor's of fine arts degree in Photographic Illustration from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Johnson is an online adjunct professor at the Arts Institute of Atlanta where he is a photography and multimedia instructor. He is currently collaborating on a book project with CNN.com senior writer/producer Wayne Drash about the role the Drash family played during slavery. Johnson’s photographs are included in the permanent collection at the Studio Museum of Harlem. He was a 2011 Kiplinger Fellow at the Kiplinger Program in Public Affairs at the Ohio State University where he practiced new social media techniques.
