9.0 Magazine (nettelove)

9.0 Magazine, founded by La'Nardo Myrick Sr. (also known as Producer 9-0) from Kansas City, MO, in 2016, is part of a broader initiative under K.L.M. Enterprises (Services) LLC. This endeavor aims to support and promote the indie music scene while providing a platform for various forms of entertainment. La'Nardo, together with his wife, Kinnette L. Myrick, established 9.0 The Underground, an internet radio station, as a space where independent artists could gain exposure without the constraints often imposed by local FM and internet radio stations. The magazine, akin to the radio station, focuses on urban, gospel, pop, and country music, celebrating diversity in the entertainment world.

The inception of 9.0 Magazine was motivated by La'Nardo's personal experiences and challenges in the music industry, particularly the struggle for independent artists to find platforms willing to showcase their work without demanding exorbitant fees. The magazine's creation was guided by the template provided by DJ King Assassin of California, aiming to create an "indie-friendly" environment. This aligns with La'Nardo's commitment to not only support the indie music scene but also to provide a conduit for stories, features, and promotions spanning models, businesses, authors, and music artists, enhancing the visibility of diverse talents and enterprises.

9.0 Magazine and 9.0 The Underground have collectively emerged as pivotal platforms in Kansas City and beyond, advocating for a blend of indie and mainstream music, and by extension, fostering a comprehensive entertainment culture. Their success is evidenced by the significant listenership and readership they've garnered, underscoring their impact on promoting the careers of emerging talents across various sectors of the entertainment industry.
