John Ricca (jricca)

John Ricca is a San Francisco Bay Area fine art photographer, with an international reputation. John explores non-representational images that emphasize shapes, textures, and patterns. John has exhibited in numerous group and solo exhibitions throughout the Bay Area.

He has also been a photography instructor for the Yosemite Conservancy and the Ansel Adams Gallery in Yosemite Valley and tutors individuals and small groups, and conducts photography workshops on how to improve photographic techniques.

Finally, John is a founding member of the Camera Cabal, a Bay Area collective of professional and serious amateur photographers dedicated to photography as a fine art. They believe that photography is not a competitive event or contact sport, but rather, that by sharing ideas and techniques and encouraging the creative talents of others, better art is created by all.
