Ian is a nature & wildlife photographer based in Tallahassee, Florida area. He is passionate about capturing the beauty of the Florida Panhandle through artistic compositions of the birds and animals that inhabit the untamed wilderness. He took up wildlife photography because of his love of the outdoors and the unique challenges that come with this type of photography. You have to deal with unpredictable light and weather, your "models" are elusive, untamed, and not cooperative, and getting "the shot" requires a unique combination of perseverance, luck, and an eye for how to line everything up when the light, subject, and background all come together. When the light, composition, and color all combine in the frame, Ian knows he has the shot and that feeling is hard to describe.
