Our Vision: Rep Your Borough Magazine was founded in early 2007 by four friends who had a desire to create something that would help to change their community and eventually the world, but how? CEO Simonne Banks, COO’S Lanise Herman and; Janine Smalls, knew that the task ahead would not be an easy one but that not deter them nor break their focus. With their greatest challenge ahead of earning the recognition that is deserved, the ladies still manage to handle it all and remain confident in knowing they have much to offer just as their competitors. Knowing the struggles of growing up in cultural diversity and not always having the resources these ladies decided to create a platform that would not mind giving recognition to the struggling artist or entrepreneur. This magazine is just as unique as its owners.
