Quarter Moon

Photography has the ability to capture and hold its subject matter in stasis. I feel this aspect of the medium completely eradicates its traditional association with the recording of reality.

However, the photographic traces can still serve as some form of evidence, documents of how something was that we can inspect and question at length. They offer us partial illuminations of the full story, it is up to us to fill in the missing pieces.

Quarter Moon is a publication that endeavours to publish some of these photographic findings, how they are 'read' and utilised is up to the viewer.
