A dérive to me is about the feeling parts of a city instill in the people who pass through it. A city is a large organism and the parts that make it up are partly structure and part living particles. How do we living particles interact emotionally with the structure all around us? In this case in the centre of a large modern town in West Yorkshire with many different types of energy continuously flowing through it - Leeds.
