DE WILLENDORF'S DAUGHTERS : A Celebration of the Urban Nudescape

Photographer-poet-artist George Nicholson has created a work expressing his outrage at the neo-Victorian societal mores sweeping across communities as censorship and supression of creative expression become the norm of the day. Prompted to action by Facebook's censoring the Venus De Willendorf Paleolithic fertility icon, Nicholson used his newly adopted hometown of Troy, New York to craft his visual response. Truly, a work of controversial nature given today's social environment.
