"Do You See What I See?" is a soft cover double book (known as dos-à-dos or tête-bêche) incorporating two series of abstract photography. Attractively bound back to back with two covers, one is upside down. The series, The Colors of Jazz, contains photos of lights shot with long exposures. The lights may be moving, the camera may be moving, or both are moving. The patterns create lines reminding the artist of jazz riffs. The second series, Aliens Landed and Left Messages, has hieroglyphic-like black lines created by tar repairs to cracks on streets. This section invites viewers to interact with the book by writing their interpretations of each "message." What are the Aliens telling us about our culture? Ideal for individuals thinking about our world and can be used as a game for parties, adults and children. Both series have been shot in the US and abroad over several years.
