I met Brittaney at Washington-Reagan airport in June 2017. It was my first time being in D.C., and the second time in my life I'd ever flown on a plane. We played phone tag for at least 30 minutes trying to find each other in this big ass airport. We hopped in the Uber, which I had no idea was even a thing back then, and headed towards the university.
