This is an 88 page full color publication featuring 65 portraits and stories of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Veterans who served their country in silence or were discharged under the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” law.

On August 25, 2010, Jo Ann began a twenty-eight day road trip around the United States, driving 10,167 miles, 31 states from New York to California and back to photograph and record the stories of over half the LGBT Veterans featured in this project .

Included are a selection of iPhone images of America taken during Jo Ann's twenty-eight day road trip.
