TSA Groundwork 1

Catalog for Groundwork I. Groundwork is an archive of process works -- works that are created during the process of an artist’s regular practice but would not normally be exhibited.

Each participating artist was asked to contribute two process works. One will become part of the archive going to the New York Public Library‘s collection, while the other will be sold to assist with future Tiger Strikes Asteroid projects and exhibitions. This unique project will preserve elements of artists’ practices that traditionally would be overlooked or discarded while providing insight for viewers into how artists make decisions in planning and executing their work.
