A new breed of literary magazine dedicated to publishing the darker, sarcastic side of poetry, fiction and art. 50% of this issue's proceeds benefit the Joy Rescue Centre in Kenya. The centre, which runs on donations, provides food, clothing, shelter, and medical care for abandoned and orphaned children in Mwea, Kenya. Many of these kids are orphaned because their parents died from HIV. Some of the children have HIV themselves, though not all of them do. The summer 2013 issue features the work of Jane Blanchard, Lizz Schumer, Danny Rosen, Alyxandra Maglio, Clinton Van Inman, Alain Marciano, Steve Klepetar, Richard King Perkins II, Lance Manion, Kyle Hemmings, John Greiner, Jason Graff, Linda Ann Strang, and Max Hambleton.
