Students and faculty at Arizona State University's School of Life Sciences will inspire you to see things in a new light.

Read about Ashleigh Gonzales, a molecular biosciences and biotechnology major who is developing new 3-D tactile technology to fully support blind and visually-impaired students in STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) classes. Gonzales has been blind since age 13.

Professor Wayne Frasch looks beyond our traditional understanding of DNA and creates an organic computer made of DNA.

Director Brian Smith and assistant professor Stephen Pratt set their sights on bio-inspired robots and associate director Miles Orchinik makes his vision for an "active learning classroom" a reality.
