The Bleed is Avantexte Press' print and digital journal of concrete and visual poetry, presenting the finest contemporary work being done in a centuries-old tradition that merges the literary and visual art forms.

In this, our third issue, we focus on a subset of visual poetry we call typoetics: visual poems that rely on unmodified letterforms to convey both visual and semantic meaning, taking advantage of traditional typographic practices in new ways.
