The Textile Study Group of New York is pleased to announce its member art show, Roots, at the El Barrio’s Artspace PS109 in East Harlem. The exhibition will feature over 90 unique works of textile art, showcasing the diverse talents and creativity of the group's membership. The theme of Roots allows each artist to interpret and explore the origin, source, and connection to their identity and cultural heritage in their work. From traditional quilts to contemporary fiber sculptures, each piece shares a deep love and appreciation for the textile arts.
