2020 changed how we were able to continue to be creative, but not in person. Photographers, models, and studios looked for a way to still be able to do what they loved. Soon, various forms of remote photography, or “remotes”, appeared. Everything from using a mobile phone to a model using their digital camera and letting a photographer, either in a different part the same country or even on the other side of the world, be able to do a photoshoot with them. Social media began to be flooded with these shoots and groups appeared on different platforms as creative people tried to connect and at least for a couple of hours take their mind off what was happening to the world around them.
This publication is a result of a several remote photography sessions with Makayla during 2020.
The result of these shoots is presented to you from a selection of the images chosen by both the photographer and model.
