This is the history of the Siceloff and Powell families. From my mother’s hands to mine came boxes with photo albums, envelopes of fragile mementos, the many lineage charts, letters, photographs, documents, and memorabilia. I’ve given my effort, as so many did, to map the stream of history, to pass on the stories, and in this way to preserve them for future generations. Here is the story of how our ancestors landed in colonial England, fought in a war for independence or for slavery, participated in westward expansion, plowed the earth, and preached the Gospel.
