Why is it we see so many eerie images which seem to roam the area of our peripheral vision? And more important, 'what' is it that we perceive? Some say that we catch a glimpse of a parallel world, some say that these creepy shadows are shadow people and others say that we have a build-in face recognition simply to detect, and act on, a possible dangerous situation.
