Adire is Queen is a Lookbook that features unique fashion pieces designed from indigenous Yoruba fabrics known as ADIRE. This lookbook talks about the history of Adire print, the works that goes into the prints, the symbols on the fabrics and what they mean. The purpose of this publication is to show the versatility, beauty and the power of African prints that have never been seen anywhere before. These fabrics were all hand drawn on and dyed in Oshogbo, Nigeria by a Yoruba textile designer, Dharmiecoal Textiles with patterns and colors picked by Yele Delusi. The designs were made by a Yoruba fashion designer based in the United States, Yele Delusi Oladeinde.
