DIOGEN pro culture magazine...Petr Brandl...Bohemian rhapsody Bohemia, the area of today's Czech Republic, was once the inspirational center of bohemian, to which belongs Petr Brandl also, a Baroque, perhaps one of the greatest, artist from the end of the 17th and the beginning of the 18th century. The turbulent life of an artist who lived the life of a vagabond bouncing off everyday life, from beggars to the rich and to end his life as a beggar, going bankrupt due to clumsy investments. But, however, it has been said that his funeral can be compared with the royal one of that time. His work, even today with its baroque reality, accentuated by color and human manifestations, with reflections focused on God's hopes and characters, shows his devotion to the brush as a weapon, but also a tool of liberation from everyday life with many biological confrontations.
