This series covers the past fifteen years of paintings geared towards mandala creation. It’s only in the past couple years that there’s been enough horsepower in computing to reasonably inexpensively produce the particular sort of mandala presented here and have the outcome be – for prints – 100 megapixels in any reasonable timeframe.

Each mandala here is a built either as a standalone – no overlaid repeating elements – or as a dual layer six-piece set. In the latter case, each piece is a variation of color. In the former, each piece is a stand-alone build based upon an individual painting.
