The first time I laid eyes on it I was amazed by the architectural design of this structure. Built-in the year of 1847 but not completed until 1904 by Holman K Wheeler. He designed 5 other buildings in Lynn Ma also. The tower sits on 4.5 acres of land in Lynn. it is also known as the highest spot in Lynn at an elevation of 170 feet. The tower is built like a Romanesque style tower, but why did Holman build this tower this way and on Native American meeting grounds. Holman Built many buildings in Lynn and Salem some you might know or have visited at some point in Lynn. Like English High School in 1915 or Lynn Armory in 1891 and some of you might have been in the County Courthouse in Salem Ma built-in 1891. But in my eyes and the folks of Lynn, the High Rock Tower built-in 1904 was his crowning achievement for him.
