Photographer-poet George Nicholson draws upon images from his Four-Volume set, Aphrodite's Winter Mirror, to photo-illustrate the ancient Greek poet Hesiod's "Theogony" in its opening stanzas leading up to the Birth of Aphrodite.

This is an unusual photographic series that celebrates the timeless mythos of the primordial lineage of the Archetypes, universal forces of nature.
